Different Camping Practices Throughout Europe

ACSI, Eurocampings.eu have recently completed a survey to identify the differences and preferences of campsite users throughout Europe.  It identifies favourite pastimes on camping holidays.

Over 18,000 campers, caravaners and motorhomes responded to the online survey with some interesting, and in some cases, predictable findings.

The survey found that the Dutch are the most ardent readers while on holiday. The Germans prefer to ‘people watch.  However, the Brits communicate most with other campers. When it comes to enjoying a drink on site, we are well ahead of the field.

You can see the full results document [here] and it makes interesting reading.
