This CL in North Norfolk is a perfectly maintained lawn with individual hard standing pitches that offer water, waste, electric supply and booster tv to each unit. It’s for adults only without pets and Roger is also a mine of information both about the area and caravans.

There are two CLs one for Caravan Club (Hard Standing) and the other Camping and Caravanning Club (Grass). Both have easy access. The site is run by the Lodge which is a residential home for disabled young adults so the night fees go to an excellent cause.

Stamford CC Site, Top Lodge is a lovely little site with no toilet blocks in a wooded setting, in a part of what was once Rockingham Forest. It is a delightful spot in among the trees, right next door to the Forestry Commission and RSPB information centre, which houses a cafe and other facilities.

This site is a CS located on the south side of Rutland Water near the village of Manton and has views of the Lake from your caravan. This is a delightful small site, for adults only with nicely kept grass. It has no toilet block, but well-designed basic facilities and the site is well laid out.

Severn Gorge Park, Telford is a small private caravan touring site which can accommodate 15 caravans, or motorhomes and is set in a development of luxurious detached Park Homes.

This CC site with all the usual facilities is on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, in the small village of Gellilydan. It is close to a lot of attractions, including the Ffestiniog Railway.

The Ashes Caravan Park can accommodate 25 outfits and is very well maintained. It is a site for adults only. Although the site is sloping each pitch is hard standing and level across the axles some on concrete stands.

A small commercial site on the edge of Gretna, with reasonable facilities, and a few pitches suitable for long caravans. Easy walking to the town and the famous Gretna Green wedding and tourist attractions.

This is a beautiful site. It is clearly better in good weather than bad, but even so, it is huge site with lots of space. It feels much less crowded than most caravan sites you will visit. Many of the pitches have a sea view, but there is a row of pitches right at the front, where you can park looking out with an uninterrupted view of the sea and the surrounding hills, and only 5 metres from the beach.

The Carrick Dhu caravan site is a Municipal site, just a mile from the centre of Portrush. The site has fairly small pitches and there is not a lot of space between them, but it is a great location

This is a superb site in an excellent location. It is just 200 metres from the shore of Lough Neagh, which is Europe's largest freshwater lake.

This is a fabulous Caravan Club site. It is beautifully laid out, in an area of parkland on the edge of university campus. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the centre of the town of Ayr and less than 20 minutes to walk to the promenade.
