Wells Touring Park,
Somerset, BA5 1AJ

This is really for information purposes, more than a review, as we have not personally stayed on the site. This site is a member of the Tranquil Touring Parks (www.tranquilparks.co.uk), and as such is confirmed as Adult Only. Wells Touring Park advocates to be one of Somerset’s finest five star parks, ideally located within walking distance to many attractions, local pubs and restaurants. It is family owned and run with 60 hardstanding and 12 grass pitches. With beautiful views of the Mendip Hills, the site is dog friendly and the sign at the entrance states, a holiday park for grown ups.
Having seen the site advertised whilst we were in the area, then passing by whilst out and about, I pulled off the road and had a nosy.
The site is situated directly off A371, approximately 3/4 mile outside of Wells, reception and entrance barrier are comfortably situated, to accommodate any outfit off the main road, to check in. But, there is no long driveway taking you away from possible road noise, was a thought that crossed my mind. However , the site appears to run back away from the main road so traffic noise shouldn’t really be a problem and from what I saw peeking round the barrier, the park looks inviting,
I wouldn’t hesitate to give it a try and the potential to walk into Wells is a plus as far as I am concerned said Oscar. I am sure if Martin decides to stay at Wells we will hear more of this site but it is worth noting if you are looking for something in the area.
